TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson officials are urging Sun Tran and its unionized workers to resolve a strike that’s lasted more than a month.

KVOA-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1NqJS5c) city council members approved a measure Wednesday that calls on Sun Tran operator Professional Transit Management and Teamsters Local 104 to reach an agreement.

The two sides resumed negotiations Tuesday after taking the Labor Day weekend off.

Councilman Steve Kozachik says the two sides need to stop taking breaks and make a deal.
