Authorities issue Amber Alert for kidnapped Canadian girl

HELENA, Mont. (AP) - Montana authorities have issued an Amber alert for a 2-year-old girl from Canada they say was kidnapped and may be headed across the border.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police officials say Hailey Dunbar-Blanchette was kidnapped early Monday from her home in Blairmore, Alberta.

They don’t know the identification of her kidnapper, but say she was traveling in a white van with a large rear antenna with a flag attached to it.

Officials say the van may be headed to Montana.

Dunbar-Blanchette is described as having a slight build, brown eyes and brown should-length hair with bangs.
