CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Organizers say about 125 women from a dozen states are expected to attend a conference in Charleston for women professionals in the utility and energy industries.

The Women’s International Network of Utility Professionals’ annual conference will be held Sept. 28-30 at the Four Points by Sheraton Charleston.

Conference chair Janet Hewitt says in a news release that topics will include the changing oil and gas industry and responding to a crisis. There also will be a panel discussion of women in non-traditional utility jobs.
