ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities have released the names of the two people killed and the three others wounded by gunfire during a house party in Rochester.

Police say 36-year-old John Rudolph and 34-year-old Herbert Thomas, both of Rochester, were killed when William James opened fire around 4:30 a.m. Saturday during a party inside a home in the Marketview Heights neighborhood.

The injured include 24-year-old Elizabeth Washington, 25-year-old Shaquanda Moody and 26-year-old Imani Williams, all of Rochester.

Authorities say James got into an argument with Rudolph at the party.

Police say James was wounded in the leg. He was in a wheelchair during his arraignment Monday on second-degree murder charges in Rochester City Court, where he pleaded not guilty. He’s being held without bail. Prosecutors say he doesn’t have a lawyer yet.
