PLAQUEMINE, La. (AP) - Funeral arrangements have been set for Mayor Mark A. “Tony” Gulotta, the longest-serving mayor in the city’s history.

City spokeswoman Ellie Hebert tells NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune (https://bit.ly/1iqFrKS ) a two-day celebration of his life will be held Tuesday and Wednesday.

A public visitation is scheduled Tuesday at Plaquemine City Hall from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. On Wednesday, visitation will be at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church from 11 a.m. until the funeral mass at 2 p.m. Following the mass, a jazz procession from the church to the burial site will be held.
