ALEXANDER, N.D. (AP) - The Highway Patrol has identified two people who died in a weekend crash in the western North Dakota oil patch.
Authorities say 30-year-old Micah Martinez, of Farmington, New Mexico, was driving a pickup truck that failed to stop at a U.S. Highway 85 intersection near Alexander shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday and collided with a semitrailer.
Martinez was killed, along with 26-year-old passenger Darrell Donahue, of Reno, Nevada.
Two other passengers in the pickup, from New Mexico and Texas, suffered undisclosed injuries. The Colorado man driving the semi was not hurt.
