CATONSVILLE, Md. (AP) - Maryland State Police say a man was killed and four men were hurt when a car crashed into a disabled pickup truck on Interstate 95.

It happened about 6 p.m. Tuesday in Catonsville. Troopers say a disabled pickup truck was on the shoulder of I-95 near Interstate 195.

Police say a car driven by 53-year-old Kevin Beard of Laurel drove onto the shoulder, hit the concrete barrier wall and traveled almost 200 feet before striking hitting the pickup truck and a man standing behind it.

That man, 29-year-old Ever Mauricio Osorio Fajardo of Hyattsville, was pronounced dead at the scene. Beard and three men who had been in truck were taken to local hospitals.

The crash is under investigation.
