SANDY, Utah (AP) - Police are searching for a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman near a Sandy TRAX light rail train station.

Sandy police say the suspect tried to start a conversation with the victim while sitting across from her in a TRAX train on Aug. 25. When she exited the train at the 9000 South station, she told police she felt the suspect was following her.

Police say the man grabbed the victim from behind and sexually assaulted her. The victim yelled for help, and bit the man as she struggled before the suspect ran back on to the train platform.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Sandy Police Department.
