SWEETWATER COUNTY, Wyo. (AP) - Sweetwater County is extending its fair to last 10 days instead of a week.

The Rock Springs Rocket-Miner reports (https://bit.ly/1KgVTnM) the first half of the fair will be dedicated to free agricultural events and an auction, while the added days are going to feature a carnival and concerts.

County Commissioner John Kolb says the new format will hopefully involve more people in agricultural events.

He said 4-H organizers may not make alcohol available during the fair’s first week.
