BALD KNOB, Ark. (AP) - Authorities are investigating after the chief of the Bald Knob Police Department discovered his personal vehicle in flames outside his home.

Police Chief Erek Balentine said Wednesday that around 11:45 p.m. Monday, a barking law enforcement dog alerted him that something was wrong. Balentine said he found his pickup with flames and smoke coming from the rear window.

According to Balentine, the words “2 Amendment” were written in spray paint on the side.

The police chief said he does not know who is responsible for the “suspicious fire.”
