WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) - A former Yonkers narcotics detective has been sentenced to eight weekends in jail after lying to get a search warrant for a raid in which a man died.

Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore announced the perjury sentence for Christian Koch (kahch) on Thursday.

He and another officer previously pleaded guilty. Neil Vera was sentenced in May to six months of weekends in jail.

A tenant in the building, Dario Tena, was killed when he fell out of a window during the March 2014 raid.
