IRVINE, Calif. (AP) - Fire officials say 15 people have been displaced after flames charred condos, garages and two cars in an Orange County neighborhood.

Capt. Steve Concialdi with the county’s Fire Authority says crews responded late Thursday to reports of a blaze at a condominium complex in Irvine.

It took 75 firefighters about an hour to bring the flames under control.

The Orange County Register reports (https://bit.ly/1iBR2qA) three condos were charred, three others suffered smoke damage, and four garages were gutted. No injuries were reported.

A small bulldozer was used to remove the two cars from the garages so firefighters could check for any hot spots inside.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.

The Red Cross is finding shelter for the displaced residents.
