POMONA, Calif. (AP) - A body found near a Los Angeles County homeless camp has been identified as a missing mother of three.

KABC-TV reports Friday that the coroner’s office has determined that 33-year-old Sally Mityas died from a sharp force injury to the chest.

Homicide detectives are investigating.

The body was found in Pomona on Monday, more than a week after Mityas’ boyfriend, Eddie Sarinina, reported her missing from their Ontario home.

Sarinina told police that she left without taking her children, car or cellphone.

Sarinina’s brother told investigators Mityas left after the couple fought over money.
