BRECKSVILLE, Ohio (AP) - Police say a bicyclist died and four more were hurt after a collision with a pickup truck in suburban Cleveland.

A statement from Brecksville police says the accident occurred around 7 p.m. Thursday when a truck attempting a left turn either struck or was hit by one or more of the bicyclists.

The Cuyahoga (ky-uh-HOH’-guh) County medical examiner on Friday identified the man killed as 33-year-old Matthew Billings of Canton. He died at the scene.

The other cyclists were taken to hospitals. Police weren’t releasing their names or providing updates on their conditions on Friday.

The accident remains under investigation.
