FAIRBURN, Ga. (AP) - Police say a man is dead after what appears to be a drug deal that went bad outside a fast-food restaurant in Fairburn.

WSB-TV (https://bit.ly/1KwqmSk ) reports that authorities identify the victim as 22-year-old Clayton Smith of Meriwether County.

Officers found a man shot to death near a pickup truck parked outside a Hardee’s restaurant Thursday night. Investigators say the restaurant was closed when the shooting occurred.

Police Sgt. Anthony Bazydio says the shooting may have occurred during a drug deal.

Authorities are looking for two suspects.
