CONWAY, S.C. (AP) - A man wanted in the death earlier this week of a teenager in Conway has surrendered to police.

Police tell local media outlets that 20-year-old Dequan Rashad Wilson of Myrtle Beach turned himself in Thursday to Horry County police. It was not immediately known if he had an attorney.

Wilson is charged in the shooting death early Sept. 14 of 19-year-old Kristen Jetel Rekeem Williams.

Initially authorities thought the victim was pushed to his death from the balcony of an apartment complex. Police later determined he had been shot.
