PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) - Gov. Phil Bryant has once again agreed to lead the motorcycle fleet during the Home of Grace Ride and Festival, better known as the annual HOG Ride, on Sept. 26.

The Mississippi Press (https://bit.ly/1Qlt39o ) reports the charity motorcycle ride begins at Trent Lott Airport and cruises along the Gulf Coast beach route in a 44-mile trek to Gulfport.

More than 260 motorcycles and 1,200 festival-goers participated last year. Attendance is expected to grow this year.

The HOG Festival is free and includes live music, food and vendors. It’s open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Founded by Bryant in 2010, the HOG Ride is a fundraising and awareness event supporting the scholarship program at the Home of Grace addiction recovery center, which is celebrating its 50th year of service.
