DUBUQUE, Iowa (AP) - Police say two 12-year-old girls in Dubuque are facing juvenile charges after getting into a fight at school, during which one of them used a stun gun on the other.

According to the Dubuque police, the two girls who attend George Washington Middle School got into a fight at a bus stop Wednesday. Police spokesman Lt. Scott Baxter said the girl who used the stun gun has been charged with assault with a weapon and carrying weapons, while the other girl is charged with disorderly conduct.

According to school Principal Mark Burns, the girl who allegedly used the stun gun is not in school pending an investigation.

In a separate incident, Burns said another stun gun was found in the possession of a student Thursday morning.
