ALBION, Mich. (AP) - Police say a shooting outside a party in southern Michigan left four people wounded.

Police say someone in a vehicle opened fire on the group late Thursday in Albion. The wounded were taken from the scene for treatment of injuries that were described by authorities as non-life-threatening.

WWMT-TV reports police say the shooting may have been related to an earlier altercation, but the circumstances are under investigation.

WOOD-TV says police are searching for a suspect.
