POCAHONTAS, Ark. (AP) - A woman has been found guilty of animal cruelty after 57 animals were removed from her Warm Springs home.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (https://bit.ly/1Yixl7t ) reports Sandra Croney was found guilty of six counts of animal cruelty on Wednesday. According to authorities, police removed 46 dogs, eight chickens and three cats from Croney’s home on Feb. 19 after being tipped off about starving animals outside her home with no shelter.

Authorities say a chicken was found dead at Croney’s home.

Croney had been charged with 58 counts of animal cruelty.
