TOWN OF KING, Wis. (AP) - Lincoln County authorities say two people were killed and two were injured in a two-motorcycle crash.

The sheriff’s office says deputies were called to the scene on County Highway H east of U.S. Highway 51 near Tomahawk around 9 p.m. Friday.

Daily Herald Media (https://wdhne.ws/1NDFqyB ) reports that investigators believe an eastbound motorcycle carrying a 67-year-old male driver and a 68-year-old female passenger crossed the centerline and struck a westbound motorcycle carrying a 59-year-old male driver and a 52-year-old female passenger.

The two people on the eastbound motorcycle were pronounced dead at Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk. The two on the westbound motorcycle were taken to a Wausau hospital.

Names of the victims and conditions of the survivors were not released.

The crash remains under investigation.
