MILTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware police are investigating a serious motorcycle crash that left two people seriously injured in Milton.

Police say the crash occurred at about 7 p.m. on Friday when a 27-year-old woman driving a Mercury Montego eastbound on Hudson Road toward Coastal Highway struck a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle and his passenger were ejected. The driver, who was wearing a helmet, was airlifted to a hospital where he’s listed in critical condition. His passenger was also taken to a hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Mercury and her passenger were both wearing seatbelts, and were taken to a hospital where they were treated and released.

Police say alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the wreck.
