PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say a man accused of inappropriately touching women inside Phoenix grocery stores is in custody.

Phoenix police say 37-year-old Erick Reyes self-surrendered to officers Friday.

They say he’s been booked into jail on suspicion of three counts of sexual abuse.

It’s unclear if Reyes has a lawyer yet.

Police say there were three known sexual abuse incidents at grocery stores in the area of 43rd Avenue and McDowell Road and 35th Avenue and Bethany Home Road between Aug. 24 and Sept. 11.

Authorities say the man approached the women from behind and touched them inappropriately.

Silent Witness released photos of the suspect and surveillance video on Thursday.
