WEST FARGO, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota National Guard’s 188th Army Band is performing a free concert Saturday afternoon.

The performance is part of West Fargo’s 2015 celebration of seasons. The 188th Army Band’s marching band took part in the parade. On Saturday afternoon, a concert band, a brass quintet, a woodwind quintet, a Dixieland band and the variety band Blues in Green will perform in North Elmwood Park.

The band will perform a mix of patriotic music, classic wind band performances and popular tunes for all ages.

The 188th Army Band’s mission is to provide music throughout the full spectrum of military operations and to instill in soldiers the will to fight and win, to foster the support of citizens, to promote national interests at home and abroad and to entertain audiences.
