IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) - Officials with the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office say they’ve arrested a man wanted in connection with a first-degree kidnapping and mayhem case that left a victim with significant injuries.

Investigation Lt. James C. Foster said in a news release that 19-year-old Faustino Angelo Anaya was taken into custody without incident at about 5:30 p.m. Friday in Idaho Falls by deputies and Idaho Falls police.

Deputies say the victim, 32-year-old Brandon Bykonen, was treated at a hospital Aug. 27 and later released. Deputies found him in Idaho Falls after responding to a report of a man down, and said they learned Bykonen had been taken against his will and beaten.

Alvaro Oseguera, 33; Ivan Sandoval, 19; and Devin Crawford and Sara Oden, both 23, have all been charged in the case.
