LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - All things creepy and crawly is the subject of a University of Nebraska-Lincoln event this weekend.

“BugFest” is the annual open house for UNL’s Department of Entomology and will take place this year from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday in Entomology Hall on UNL’s East Campus. The event is free and open to the public.

The open house will feature professors and students providing information on insects, laboratory demonstrations, door prizes and live music. A variety of activities will be available for children - such as the build-a-bug workshop and an insect zoo.
