ST. LOUIS (AP) - A 22-year-old St. Louis man has been charged in the killing of a man over drugs and missing money.

Trevion Holmes was charged Monday with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of 27-year-old Joshua Buie. According to police, Holmes shot and killed Buie around 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police say Buie was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. They say he had gunshot wounds to his back, side, chest, buttocks and foot. A 40-year-old woman had gunshot wounds to her thighs, and she was treated and released from a hospital.

According to authorities, the shooting happened due to an argument about missing money and drug activity.

Another suspect in the shooting has not been apprehended.

Holmes’ bail has been set at $1 million. It was not immediately clear if he has an attorney.
