BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Officials say a woman was injured after getting pinned under a pickup truck in Vermont.

WCAX-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1hTb5k1 ) first responders were called to a Riverside Avenue parking lot in Burlington on Tuesday where they found the woman under the truck. Authorities say she was doing some kind of maintenance in the area when the incident occurred.

Burlington Fire Lt. Jamie Valyou says the driver was trying to leave after visiting a friend when he backed over the woman.

Rescue crews were able to safely remove her from under the truck. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
