WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - Investigators are seeking the cause of a house fire that killed a central New Jersey man.

Wall Township police say the fire at the Vine Street home was reported shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday. The blaze was soon brought under control and extinguished a short time later.

The man’s body was found in the home a short time later. Authorities say the man lived alone in the home but did not release his name.

No other injuries were reported in the blaze.

The fire is under investigation by Wall police and Monmouth County authorities.
