TALLEYVILLE, Del. (AP) - The Delaware State Police is investigating the armed robbery of a Rita’s Water Ice store near Talleyville.

State Police say the store located at 2909 Concord Pike was robbed Saturday around 5 p.m. State Police say a man armed with a handgun confronted two female employees at a sales window and demanded cash from the register.

State Police say the clerks turned over an undisclosed amount of money and that the man fled in a car. No one was injured.

State Police described the man as a black man between 6 feet and 6 feet 3 inches tall and 160 to 180 pounds. State Police say it’s possible that the car he was driving was grey.
