LAFAYETTE, Ore. (AP) - Deputies in Oregon say a man badly injured two female relatives when he attacked them with nunchucks.

The Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office says it arrested 28-year-old Kasey David Allan Heermann for investigation of attempted murder and assault Saturday in Lafayette, about 35 miles southwest of Portland.

Deputies reported that that they arrived at the home to find the two victims bleeding from head wounds. One was flown to a Portland-area trauma unit with severe injuries to the head and eye, while the other was brought to Willamette Valley Medical Center with a head wound.

Heermann is being held on $465,000 bail. Hi arraignment was set for Monday afternoon.
