BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (AP) - Bloomington police say hotel guests rescued a 9-year-old girl from the hotel’s swimming pool.

Police were called to the hotel about 9 p.m. Saturday on a report of a child being rescued from the pool.

Police say hotel patrons pulled the unconscious girl from the bottom of the pool and began to resuscitate her.

The girl was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where she is in critical but stable condition.
