WEST HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - Police say they’ve arrested a man who hit at least eight parked cars while driving a stolen minivan in West Haven.

Authorities say they started receiving calls about parked cars being struck after 9 p.m. Saturday. As officers were responding, more reports came in of cars being hit in other parts of the city.

Officers found the minivan and located its driver, 22-year-old Hector Ospina Garcia, soon after. He’s charged with reckless driving, operating without a license and related offenses.

It’s unclear if he has an attorney who could comment. He’s being held in lieu of bail.
