LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - The University of Nebraska State Museum’s Sunday with a Scientist program will explore the state’s archaeology.

The museum will join the National Park Service’s Midwest Archeological Center and the Nebraska State Historical Society in observing Nebraska Archaeology Month. The event is scheduled to run from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Morrill Hall on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln City Campus.

Archaeologists Erin Dempsey, Phil Geib and Nolan Johnson and archaeological technicians Morgan Beyer and Erin Carr will help visitors learn how archaeologists use technology to study the human past.
