BRIDGEWATER, Pa. (AP) - Tina Bequeath has been promoted to vice president of publishing for Calkins Media in western Pennsylvania, and will also be the permanent publisher of the Beaver County Times.

Bequeath was named interim publisher and vice president when publisher Lisa Reese announced her departure in July. Rees left to become president and publisher of the Gannett-owned Pensacola News Journal.

According to the Times (https://bit.ly/1KutNWm), Bequeath became the newspaper’s controller in October 2010. In March 2013, she also became controller for the western Pennsylvania media group, which also includes the Ellwood City Ledger, the Herald-Standard of Uniontown, and SWC Properties.

She’ll now head those Calkins properties.
