MIDDLEBURY, Vt. (AP) - Vermont religious leaders and a Montpelier think tank are teaming up for two more forums on state spending priorities.

Vermont Interfaith Action and the Public Assets Institute say the forums are designed to glean ideas and promote public involvement in issues of income inequality and state policies they maintain are contributing to downward mobility for many Vermonters.

Two forums hosted by the groups are set for this Friday. One is from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church on the Green in Middlebury.

Later Friday, the Danville Congregational Church at 87 Hill Street in Danville, will be the site of a similar event from noon to 1:30 p.m.
