FLINT, Mich. (AP) - A restaurant in Flint is offering free meals to law enforcement officers in uniform.

Frank Molina, who owns Anacelia’s Mexican Restaurant, says Genesee County officers will be able to get free meals from the lunch menu any time of day.

Molina tells The Flint Journal (https://bit.ly/1MlbKVt ) that the restaurant is doing the giveaway in part because of negative Facebook comments about police and the city of Flint. He says the restaurant also wants to show gratitude, and that many of his family and friends are police officers.

The giveaway began Saturday, and Molina says it will go through at least the end of the year. He says the restaurant might also give discounts to medical personnel and firefighters.
