BROCKTON, Mass. (AP) - Police in Brockton say a 12-year-old city boy’s chest was grazed by a bullet over the weekend after gunfire erupted during a party.

The Enterprise (https://bit.ly/1isTLSI ) reports that officers were called to the Spring Street house at around 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

Police say shots were fired into the yard from the yard of another house. Seven shell casings were recovered at the scene.

The boy was taken to Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital for treatment.

Police believe the people at the party were targeted.

The shooting remains under investigation. Police say no arrests have been made as of Sunday morning.
