RANDOLPH, N.J. (AP) - Police say a 21-year-old man fatally shot himself at a northern New Jersey gun range.

Officers were called to the RTSP Shooting Range on Route 10 in Randolph around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

The man, who hasn’t been identified, died at an area hospital. An official cause or manner of death has yet to be determined.

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office says the incident appeared to be isolated and the community isn’t in danger.

The gun range was closed Sunday and the shooting remains under investigation.
