HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - A central Pennsylvania judge has approved a month’s delay in the trial of two parents charged in the death of their disabled 9-year-old son.

Thirty-nine-year-old Jarrod Tutko Sr. and 40-year-old Kimberly Tutko are charged with criminal homicide and child endangerment in the death of Jarrod Tutko Jr., whose body was found in August 2014 in the family’s Harrisburg home.

PennLive.com (https://bit.ly/1LrDSrc ) reports that Dauphin County Judge John Cherry rescheduled their trial for the week of Oct. 26.

The judge also Monday arraigned the couple on separate child endangerment charges relating to what their 10-year-old daughter, who is also disabled.

Police allege that the girl was found in dire medical condition in a nearby room as police investigated the death of her brother.
