TULSA, Okla. (AP) - A 24-year-old woman has been arrested after she stole an Osage County deputy’s patrol car while in custody.

The sheriff’s office says the woman was arrested in Tulsa early Monday for driving a stolen vehicle. KOTV-TV (https://bit.ly/1KG1vvu ) reports that the deputy handcuffed and placed her in the back of his patrol car, but she was able to climb into the front seat and drive away.

Tulsa police say they found the patrol car abandoned just north of the Sand Springs Expressway. The driver was taken back into custody late Monday morning.

It wasn’t immediately clear if she has an attorney.
