TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Pima County authorities say two Marana men have been rescued after becoming stranded at Tanque Verde Falls near Tucson.

They say the men - ages 19 and 21 - were without shoes or a cellphone and had injured their feet so they were unable to hike out.

County sheriff’s officials say a helicopter hoisted the men to safety around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday.

They say the men were picked up by family members and didn’t require medical treatment.

Their names haven’t been released.

Sheriff’s deputies say one of the men brought along two dogs and one remains missing.
