LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police have arrested a suspect in the theft of four decommissioned state police vehicles and recovered the final missing vehicle.

State police say the stolen vehicle was spotted by state police helicopter pilots Tuesday morning in southwest Little Rock and the suspect was arrested shortly before noon. Details of the arrest were not released.

Three of the four stolen vehicles were recovered in southwest Little Rock and the fourth was found in the Union County town of Huttig where the suspect had recently lived.

The vehicles were discovered missing from the department’s auto storage lot in Little Rock last Wednesday during an audit. They were decommissioned with state police markings and emergency equipment removed in advance of being transferred to the Department of Finance and Administration Marketing and Redistribution warehouse.
