CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) - A longtime church organist who sexually assaulted several young boys has been sentenced to 20 years in state prison.

Camden County prosecutors say 73-year-old Joseph Cuthbert must serve 17 years of the sentence imposed Friday before he becomes eligible for parole. The sentence was made public Tuesday.

The Winslow Township man had pleaded guilty in June to three counts of aggravated sexual assault and one count of child endangerment.

Prosecutors say the crimes occurred between November 2002 and December 2013 in Winslow. The victims were four boys who were at least 13 but less than 16 when the assaults occurred.

Cuthbert met the youths while serving as an organist for various churches in southern New Jersey.
