DULUTH, Minn. (AP) - The downtown Duluth building that once housed a synthetic drug store has been sold.

A commercial real estate investment company, Titanium Partners, has purchased the property from the government. The former owner of the Last Place on Earth, Jim Carlson, is serving a 17-year federal prison sentence for selling synthetic drugs.

WDIO-TV (https://bit.ly/1Kxpc5K ) says plans are still being finalized on the future use of the building with improvements on its structure expected to begin this fall.
