TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - There are dangerous swimming conditions at New Jersey beaches.

A high rip current risk is in effect until 8 p.m. Tuesday along the entire Jersey shore.

Forecasters say strong northeast winds will combine to create wave heights of 5 to 7 feet.

Forecasters say the elevated risk will likely continue into the weekend.
