WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (AP) - A jury was set to deliberate charges against a woman charged along with her boyfriend in the killings of a father and son in their northeastern Pennsylvania home last year.

Forty-year-old Holly Ann Crawford has denied any role in the killings, laying the blame on her co-defendant, 33-year-old James Roche, who faces trial in November. Crawford claims she was battered and manipulated by Roche, and was present but didn’t participate in the April 2014 deaths of 73-year-old Ronald Evans and 43-year-old Jeffrey Evans in Hunlock Township.

But Luzerne County prosecutors say Crawford goaded Roche into the shootings after he saw a movie with a character that reminded him of Ronald Evans, with whom Crawford also had a sexual relationship.

Prosecutors are seeking a first-degree murder conviction, which carries life in prison.
