LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Police say a 38-year-old man has died after an overnight shooting in Little Rock.

According to Officer Richard Hilgeman, witnesses heard gunshots early Tuesday outside a home on 19th Street, then saw two people put the victim into a car. Hilgeman says the victim, Brant Shields, was driven to Arkansas Children’s Hospital, where he later died.

Hilgeman says officers interviewed the two people who dropped Shields off at the hospital. They told police that a car pulled up outside the home and someone started firing shots at Shields.

No arrests have been made.
