PROVO, Utah (AP) - Authorities say a hang glider has been hospitalized after falling more than 70 feet and crashing at a state park.

Lehi Fire Battalion Chief Rick Howard says the man was hang gliding at the state flight park near Draper Tuesday morning when he had some kind of problem with his glider and crashed.

Howard told The Daily Herald (https://bit.ly/1LMmDNf ) that the man landed on his right side and injured his legs.

Howard did not have details about the man’s identity but said he was flown to a hospital in serious but stable condition.
