MERIDEN, Conn. (AP) - A federal attorney says a 63-year-old Connecticut man invited teenage boys over for sexual slumber parties and filmed them with cameras he had set up around his home.

Mark Irvin, of Meriden, is charged with production and possession of child pornography.

A warrant says Irvin gave the teens alcohol, showed them pornographic movies, gave them sex dolls, touched them inappropriately and encouraged them to touch each other sexually.

Federal prosecutors say a teen claimed Irvin repeatedly had sexual contact with him since he was 15 years old and he watched Irvin engage in sexual activity with other boys.

Irvin appeared in federal court Monday and is due back in court on Sept. 24.

He faces up to 40 years in prison if convicted.

It’s unclear if Irvin has an attorney.
